I have been a member of ADAPS (Atherton & District Amateur Photographic Society) since 2007 when I got my first DSLR camera. I joined, hoping it would improve my photography and it did, way beyond my wildest dreams. Our club is one of the biggest in the North West of England with around 100 members, I am currently sat on the committee as Vice Chair Lady, a position I'm very proud of. If you want to improve your photography, then I would encourage you to join a club too, it's a lot of fun and a great way to make new friends. Here is a link to my club: http://www.adaps.org.uk/default.htm
I recently did a photoshoot for an up and coming young actor Bretten Lord, he needed his portfolio updating in order to further his acting career. Some of the photos taken of Bretten can be viewed in my Commercial section. For more information about Bretten, visit his website: http://www.brettenlord.com/#
My friend Beverley was getting married and although she had hired a professional photographer she asked if I would take some casual photos of the day, she wanted to capture everyone relaxed and informal. She couldn't believe it when I handed her this book a couple of weeks later, she said it was better than the photos the professional had taken. My very dear friends Joe and Margaret asked if I would attend Joe's 70th Birthday celebrations and take some photos of the occasion. They were expecting me to produce them with a CD, instead, I had the photos made into a book, see link to view the book: http://www.blurb.co.uk/b/3154212-joe-s-70th-birthday-party
